Halloween Duet

“Eek! what is that rattling in the cage?” asked Miss Nancy as she entered the Smith home.
“Oh, it’s just a Halloween skeleton I wound up to scare you,” exclaimed Charles.
“Look at the monster lights, the black rose bouquet, and the pumpkin on the mantel, too! ” Charles pointed out.

Let’s play some spooky music,” said Miss Nancy.

Charles was working on the duet “Frightful Night” with a school friend.
“We can’t wait to perform this for our music class,” he said, after he played the dramatic crescendi and diminuendi accented with crisp staccato notes.

“Scary music always sets the scene for goblins,” added Miss Nancy.
